Patch settings for RP90
|
Preset-/Songname:
Vicarious (delay for Jones and Chancellor's part)
|
Artist:
Tool
|
Description:
This is a clean delay that sounds similar to the Adam Jones sound in Vicarious, in the intro and in the minute 4:50.
The delay is adjusted to match with the song's tempo and sound when it sounds in the CD. The expression pedal is turned on because the delay sounds slightly louder the second time you listen it (minute 4:50), so you must play the initial intro with the pedal in min position (down) and te second time in max position (up). The values for the expression pedal are 15 for min and 30 for max (this web doesn't allow me to put them).
The tone and amp used sounds similar to the original for me, but it's possible that with your own guitar and amplifier sounds different. If that's the case, you can change it preserving the effects.
(Note that this patch doesn't apply to the minute 2:00 of the song, where you can listen a strange non-constant delay that maybe is not possible to reply with a RP90. In fact, I can't listen that strange delay in the Vicarious' live videos uploaded to YouTube)
