Re: Boss GT100
Hi,
I tried this yesterday, and in general yes you can add them to your gt 100.
I ve used the gfx tools to import them, but with some mid files, the' application crashed.... A bug maybe.
Regards

Re: Boss GT100
First download the floorboard - http://sourceforge.net/projects/fxfloorboard/ from there you will be able to use/convert all GT and GR Patches on your 100. The floorboard is the only way (maybe not the only) but the best way. You won't be sorry.

You will probably know how to get to the FX chain, but I have listed step by step using the GT-100 screens and not the GT-100FxFloorboard software (great software BTW).
On the patch you want to create the dotted 8 notes do the following:
1. Goto the effect Press 'Effect' button
2. On FX chain screen (screen 1) using dial 4 - goto your delay in the FX chain (make sure this is switched on in your FX Chain using dial 3)
3. On screen 2, the delay screen use dial 6 and move the delay time dial around to the far right until you see the following BPM symbol (see attached)
Press write and off you go....
Note: Depending on the song, you should set the patch BPM to ensure the delay is in time with the song tempo; for example, if you are doing something like U2 where the streets have no name, set the patch BPM to 127bpm
To set the patch BPM do the following:
If you are still in the effect chain goto step 2 if not, start at step 1...
1. Goto the effect Press 'Effect' button
2. On FX chain screen (screen 1) using dial 4 scroll to the right until you are at the end of the FX Chain, you should see the following screen to set the patch master BPM.
3. press Write

Re: Boss GT100
For all users or the GT 100 there are 25 classic patches written by the Boss team of guitarists at the Roland web site.? free download. I have done a few myself and will upload when i get the chance.
