Boss GT-10 How do i download patches to my Boss?

Hi,i have just bought a GT-10,can anybody explain how i can download these patches on this site and then add them to my unit? Every time i dl a patch it trys to open with media player?????? Any help would be appreciated,thanks Adey.

Hey what up Payne

Step 1 make sure to connect youre Gt-10 with a usb cable to youre pc
2.Download http://sourceforge.net/projects/fxfloorboard/
3.once you install it go to the top right of the gt floorboard and go to "FILE" and click on "Load Patch" then find were ever it is u download destination is and double click on it and Done! :] Hope this helped

Hey Metal 747 ,ok so done what you said,got the floorboard graphic on my pc now but,now when i download a patch from here instead of opening or having a media player tab,it is now just a blank tile which then says windows cannot open thyis type of file????? they were fine before!! what the f@@@ am i doing wrong? Sorry dude new to all this lol

ok,i think i've nailed it.all i do is change the file name to either .syx or .mid after the original extension name,seems to work fine .thanks for all your input! What an awesome peice of kit the GT-10 is!! Leaves the line 6 pod xt live in the shadows

lol No problem man happy you got it working..Yeah i love this thing,kinda hard to use at first cause i am new too the boss series but once you get the hang of it its all good ..Have you made any patches yet?
