First you need to download the Librarian software from Boss :
Go to website & find version to suit your PC.

once installed follow following instructions:
To Import ".Mid" patch files on ME -25 unit. ( to create a Library file ready to be installed later can be done with or without the USB connection to the ME25)
(NOTE: I do not know if this is the correct method , but it seems to work.)

Download files to a folder on your PC

Open BOSS Librarian software.
with main window in "Memory" section.

Open a new Library window
(4)
Click in the memory window to select it
(5)
From the file menu select "Import SMF"( Standard Midi File)
CLick OK when Overwrite warning window appears.

Navigate to Saved download folder and select file (one file at at time) then cLick Open
(7)
New Patch now occupies one of the patch divisions.
(8)
Click (Select) the new Patch(es)
From the EDIT Menu click "Copy
(9)
Click on the top line of the "New" library window.
Patch now in New file window
From the EDIT menu click "Insert"
(10)Repeat above for any other imported MIDI patches
(11)Save the Library file with a suitable name.
Now you can Install the Load the Patches using the newly created .M2l file when your USB is connected
