Something didn't work with the mp3-upload, go to soundcloud.com/doode-1/vhi for a preview. This is my first attempt to capture Eddie's tone on the first Van Halen record. Add flanger, phaser and/or detune to taste. Remember that Eddie's guitar track was usually panned to one side and a delay to the other, while this patch is dead center. Makes quite a difference. Also bear in mind that this patch was done with/for a Jackson Dinky DK2 in standard tuning. With your guitar, it WILL sound different. Enjoy. Doode.
