Suggested patch for Death Magnetic sound - Metallica

Description:

I've noticed some requests for metallica's sound, Death Magnetic in particular. For people who doesn't know, Metaalica's sound is basic a wall of guitars, equiped with humbuckers through Mesa Boogie amps for the distorted sound, with treble on max, middle on min and bass on max. They usually double the base guitar parts on each guitar to create that thick, heavy distorted sound. Not to mention the 5ths and octaves hide in the mix. This is only a starting point. Set the patch like this and then adjust EQ, Volume and drive according to your amp. The reverb is just another sugestion, adjust it taste. It doesn't sound good with an all tube amp. This is for direct playing or recording but it will sound good with solid state amps. Hope this helps.
