ME-MatchlessEL84 according to Paul Davids We are in luck with our ME-90 because it should be easy to get the Matchless EL84 sound that Paul Davids describes in his video, DIAMOND in PreAMPs is based on a Vox that has the EL84 tube rectifier, exactly that is what you need to get it, all the magic is in the EL84 tube. To get the Klon drive we can use the CENTA OD, that is based on a KLON and for the Strymon Volante Delay i have used the +reverb that has Delay+Chorus. I think compressor is not really needed, sounds compressed due to the KLON, but if you like, add it to your taste. My Setup goes frontAmp in, so you need to adjust OUTPUT LEVEL, PREAMP LEVEL. Use the OD/DS DRIVE to control the breakup, tweak the PREAMP GAIN if you need, to control for your settings. ( Press EDIT on the ME-90 to make adjustments etc ) Let your heart sing !
