The patches in this LiveSet are compatible with the Boss ME-80 pedal. They are structured semi-chronologically to the Beatles’ catalog not only for sorting purposes but also to transition easily from patch to patch during a live performance. As such, some patches are duplicates with alternate names. These patches were created using a Les Paul into an AC-30. The CTL pedal is used to boost volume for each patch. CLEAN 1 is a standard clean tone, good for Don’t Let Me Down, Ob-La-Di, In My Life, Michelle, Here There and Everywhere, All You Need is Love, Two of Us, Hey Jude, and any song that requires a basic clean tone. CLEAN 2 is a clean tone with bite/delay for mop-top era tones such as Saw Her Standing There, Roll Over Beethoven, All My Loving, Can’t Buy Me Love, and any rockers from the early days. OVRDRV 1 is a tone with slight overdrive for Rubber Soul and Revolver era, good for Day Tripper, Drive My Car, and any songs that need bite without the mop-top delay sound. OVRDRV 2 is a tone with heavy overdrive, mainly for songs post Revolver era. Good for Sgt Pepper, Hey Bulldog, Back in the USSR, Birthday, Come Together, Dig a Pony, Let it Be, and any rockers post Revolver. CLEAN LES is a copy of CLEAN 1 with Leslie speaker emulation. Good for any songs that require a clean Leslie tone. OVRDRV LES is a copy of OVRDRV 2 with Leslie speaker emulation. Good for Old Brown Shoe and any others that require Leslie emulation with some bite. BOTHER 1 is a copy of CLEAN 2. BOTHER 2 is a copy of CLEAN 2 with tremolo effect added. BIRD is specifically for And Your Bird Can Sing but can also be used for other Revolver era songs such as Dr Robert and Taxman. LUCY / SUN is specifically for Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds and Here Comes the Sun. PRUDENCE 1 is specifically for the fingerpicking part of Dear Prudence. PRUDENCE 2 is specifically for the lead work at the end of Dear Prudence. WEEPS is specifically for While My Guitar Gently Weeps. MONKEY is specifically for Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except for me and My Monkey but can also be used for other songs that require a fuzz tone. HELTER is specifically for Helter Skelter. REVOLUTION is specifically for Revolution. SOMETHING is specifically for Something. SUN KING is specifically for Sun King. MUSTARD is a copy of OVRDRV2. BATHROOM is specifically for She Came in Through the Bathroom Window. JUNIOR INTRO is specifically for the Junior’s Farm twin lead intro. JUNIOR LEAD is a copy of OVRDRV2.
